Version 1.0 · Effective September 2026
1. Who we are
Catalog Standard is a commercial brand of V M Silva Soluções Administrativas Ltda., a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 51.364.944/0001-89, with registered address at R Viaza, 400, Apt 1108, Jardim Aeroporto, São Paulo, SP 04633-050, Brazil (“Catalog Standard”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to any purchase of our services by you, the customer (“you”, “merchant”).
2. Business customers
Catalog Standard services are offered to merchants and other customers purchasing for business or professional purposes. Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
3. The service
The service currently offered is Product Title Standardization: a review of up to 500 product titles from your Shopify catalog, a proposed naming standard, identification of decisions that require your input, application of the rules you approve, and a final review of the result against the agreed scope. Where your catalog has more than 500 products, the scope is up to 500 active or prioritized product titles agreed with you in writing.
4. Scope
The service is limited to product titles. Prices, inventory quantities, SKUs, barcodes, product variants, variant structure, product descriptions, SEO fields, image alt text and any other catalog field are outside the editing scope of this service. We do not expand the scope of the work without a separate written agreement with you.
5. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate catalog information and the export or access needed for the agreed delivery workflow.
- Confirm that you are authorized to request changes to the store in question.
- Review the proposed standard and answer flagged decisions. The work cannot be completed until you do.
6. Merchant approval and flagged decisions
The work follows five steps in order: catalog review, standard proposal, merchant approval and decisions, title standardization, final review. You approve the proposed naming standard in writing before any title is changed. Where a title depends on your business rules (for example brand placement, abbreviations, internal codes or supplier naming), it is flagged for your decision rather than assumed. Your approval and your answers to flagged decisions form the standard against which the delivered result is checked.
7. Delivery workflow
The start date, delivery workflow (for example a reviewed file for you to apply, or changes applied on your behalf under access you grant) and expected delivery date are confirmed in writing before work begins. Delivery dates depend on catalog size, scope and how quickly flagged decisions are answered. Any access you grant is used only for the agreed scope and is released when the work is complete.
8. Price and payment
The price is US$390, one-time, for the scope described above. Payment options include card and U.S. bank transfer, as confirmed by email. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due before work begins. Taxes, duties or bank charges that apply on your side are your responsibility.
9. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Corrections
If delivered titles do not conform to the standard you approved, we correct the non-conforming titles at no additional service charge. Requests to change the standard itself after approval are a new scope and are agreed separately.
11. Confidentiality
Catalog data, store information and correspondence you share with us are used only to provide the service and are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your catalog as a customer example or reference without your written permission.
12. Reasonable professional care
We perform the work with reasonable professional care and review the result against the approved scope before completion. Because the standard applied is the one you approve, decisions about naming conventions and their commercial effect remain yours.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from or related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Your data and our work product
Your catalog and store data remain yours. The proposed standard, review notes and standardized titles delivered for your catalog are yours to use once the service is paid for. Our methods, templates and working documents remain ours.
15. Shopify independence
Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. Catalog Standard is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Shopify Inc.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without affecting any mandatory protection you may have under the law of your own jurisdiction.
